Specific requirements

​​​​​​​ 1-1- Academic requirements:
1- Bachelor:
_ Possession of a valid diploma
_ Academic degree and transcripts issued by schools in the applicant's country of origin must be approved by the embassy or missions of the Islamic Republic of Iran after being approved by the competent authorities of that country.
_ Having a minimum GPA of 12 out of 20 (60 out of 100) or its equivalent.
2- Master:
_ Possession of a valid bachelor's degree
_ Academic degree and transcripts issued by universities in the applicant's country of origin must be approved by the embassy or missions of the Islamic Republic of Iran after being approved by the competent authorities of that country.
_ Having a minimum undergraduate GPA of 12 out of 20 (60 out of 100) or its equivalent in a field appropriate to the field of study of the master's degree
3- Specialized PhD (research-oriented):
_ Having a valid bachelor's and master's degree
_ The degree and transcripts issued by universities in the applicant's country of origin must be approved by the embassy or representative offices of the Islamic Republic of Iran after being approved by the competent authorities of that country.
_ Having a minimum master's GPA of 14 out of 20 (70 out of 100) or its equivalent in a field appropriate to the field of study of the doctoral degree.

2-1- Age requirements:
1- Non-scholarship students: Non-scholarship applicants can study at this university without any age prerequisites.
2- Scholarship students: Students applying for scholarships from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology or the University of Mazandaran must meet the following age requirements when submitting their application:
a) Maximum 22 years for high school diploma holders (26 years for candidates in Persian language and literature and theology) for undergraduate studies.
b) Maximum 25 years for bachelor's degree holders (30 years for candidates in Persian language and literature and theology) for postgraduate studies.
c) Maximum 30 years for master's degree holders (30 years for candidates in Persian language and literature and theology) for doctoral studies.
