General conditions
1-1- Having non-Iranian citizenship and presenting valid non-Iranian identity documents.
2-1- Not having a legal prohibition on being in the Islamic Republic of Iran with the approval of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Intelligence
- Final registration and continuation of studies of applicants for study, with the exception of the following cases, is subject to completing the legal formalities of leaving the country (except for non-Iranian applicants not residing in the country) and obtaining a passport as well as a study visa:
- Holders of political asylum booklet
- If some non-Iranian students (Iraqi, Afghan, Syrian and ··· ) holders of special identity cards for non-Iranian citizens are currently prohibited from obtaining a passport from the embassy or consulate of their country of origin in Iran, they can register and continue their studies based on their special identity cards for non-Iranian citizens until the obstacles are removed.
Note 1: Obviously, if these obstacles are removed, The aforementioned students, like other non-Iranian students, are required to complete the formalities of leaving the country and obtaining a passport.

Note 2: Obtaining the initial certificate once from the General Department of Foreign Nationals and Immigrants Affairs of Mazandaran Province is sufficient. It is necessary to clarify that before the end of the academic year, the student is required to refer to the University’s International Office for re-verification of his/her valid identification document.
Note 3: The Islamic Republic of Iran has no obligation to issue a residence permit for the applicant’s family, with the exception of the spouse(s) and children of the students.
3-1- Applicants for study, like Iranian accepted students, will be subject to the educational, student, etc. regulations and rules of the University of Mazandaran.
4-1- Financial capacity required to pay the full tuition fee

Note 1: If the conditions for admission and registration of applicants for study do not comply with the regulations and rules of the Procedures at any stage of registration and study, the applicant’s admission and study will be prevented with the approval and recognition of the University’s International Office.
6-1- Candidates with educational certificates from outside the Islamic Republic of Iran must submit all their educational certificates to the approval of the embassy or one of the consulates of the Islamic Republic of Iran in their country of origin.
7-1- Applicants for Persian language courses who are not fluent in Persian, if accepted, must complete the Persian language course successfully, at the Center for Teaching Persian to Non-Persian Speakers (AZFA) at the University of Mazandaran.
